"I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2015. I had many issues like facial hair, skin darkening, weight gain, irregular periods, cystic acne, hair thinning, mood swings, sugar cravings etc. By 2018, I started to be cautious of what I ate and tried to be active as far as could and hoped to see changes. It took so long to lose weight, whereas gaining weight always happened instantaneously. I approached so many gynecologists since 2015, and almost every time I was identified to have high testosterone levels and an imbalanced ratio of the female hormones. "After years and years of not feeling well, and being diagnosed Type 2 diabetic, with elevated blood pressure and fatty liver earlier in the year, on top of an already pre existing under active thyroid, I felt I was getting no where in the GP system. Even with specialist consultations, my body was not being treated holistically.

I knew there must be something better out there, then I found Perth Natural Medical Clinic and have been a patient of Lesley Oakes since the beginning of September 2020. Lesley took a thorough history and went through the symptomatic questionnaire I had completed before my appointment. She was able to explain to me what she thought was most likely going on, and allayed my fears of chronic health problems by sorting out my thyroid. So I needed to do a few blood tests and so when the results came back, Lesley was able to again explain to me what my body was doing, and the plan of action to get it on track again. "After suffering most of my life with gut / bowel problems, I learnt from an early age that traditional medicine wasn’t going to help me. I previously have been subject to a multitude of medical tests and prescribed medicines of which did not relieve the symptoms.
